What are you doing in response to COVID-19?
We have always cleaned and sanitized our tour vehicles after every tour and will continue to do so. We are limiting our tours to private tours only and to a maximum of 6 people per tour. Tour guides will wear masks while in the tour vehicle and in any space where social distancing is not possible. We will have masks available to guests who wish to wear one. We have revised our cancellation policy to accommodate for COVID. Please see below.
I've never been on a wine tour before. How does it work?
You will be picked up at your specified location and we will head to wine country! We will stop at a couple of wineries where you will get to taste a minimum of 4 wines at each one. We will show you how to taste wine like a pro (or you can sip it however you like). If you choose to buy wine, we provide a cooler to store it in during the tour. We will then stop for lunch where you will be given some private time to enjoy a nice meal and more BC wine! From there we will stop at a few more wineries. Finally, we will take you back to where you were picked up, which wraps up the tour.
What should I bring on the tour?
Please bring 2 pieces of ID, at least 1 piece with your photo (i.e. Driver’s license, Passport, etc…)
How many wineries do you visit on a tour?
We visit a minimum of 4 wineries on our regularly scheduled, full day tours and a minimum of 3 wineries on our monthly “feature” tours and half day tours.
How long is the tour?
Full day tours may take anywhere from 6 to 8 hours depending on your pick-up location. We will provide you with an estimate of your pick-up and drop-off times prior to your tour, although these times are not guaranteed. Typical pick-up time is between 9am-10:30am and drop-off between 4:30pm-6pm.
What is included with the tour?
The tour includes door to door service, roundtrip transportation, knowledgeable tour guide, all tasting fees, pre-booked tastings, chilled bottled water, and a lunch or dinner reservation (meal is at your own expense) and a small selection of photos from your tour (photos are delivered via email approximately one week after your tour).
Do I have to try all of the wine?
We encourage you to try everything you can, as this is the best way to learn more about wine, but no, you do not have to try all of the wines and anything you do not like you may pour out! (Nope, this isn’t rude! Wineries supply dump buckets for this purpose and for those who are only tasting, not drinking the wine!)
Do you stop for lunch?
Yes, we stop for lunch! Lunch is at your own expense. This allows you to choose whatever you like rather than be restricted to a group menu!
Are there vegan/vegetarian/GF lunch options?
Yes! Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions and we will be sure our lunch stop is able to accommodate you.
What should I wear on the tour?
You are welcome to wear whatever you like, so long as you are clothed! We recommend wearing flat shoes as heels are not ideal for walking on gravel driveways or in vineyards! Also, try to avoid wearing perfume or cologne as this can overpower the wine.
How much wine will we drink?
More than enough! You will get to taste a minimum of 4 wines at each winery and our lunch stop will have local wine options available to pair with your meal. Our tour is meant to be fun and educational!
You will likely get a little tipsy and have loads of fun, but you are expected to be respectful to other guests, your guide and winery staff. The wineries have the right to not accept any drunk or disorderly guests. We do not offer refunds if this should happen and reserve the right to remove unruly guests from the tour. Can I drink wine in the tour van?
No. BC Laws dictate that open alcohol is not allowed in vehicles or in public. We provide a wine check for you during the tour and store your wine purchases in boxes in the rear of the vehicle. If you are found to be drinking alcohol in our tour vehicle, we reserve the right to remove you from the tour. For more information please see our Terms & Conditions
Will I be able to drive after the tour?
If you need to travel after the tour, we recommend arranging transportation as you will have consumed a significant amount of alcohol on the tour and should not drive afterwards.
Can you accommodate more than 7 people?
If you are wanting to book a private tour of more than 7 people, we may be able to accommodate up to 10 people, although this will require using more than 1 vehicle for the tour. Please contact us

What is your cancellation policy?
We are currently providing a 100% refund for tours cancelled due to COVID-19. For all other cancellations the policy is as follows: Within 7 – 30 days prior to tour date, full refund of monies paid, less $25 administration. Within 2 – 7 days prior to tour date, $20 per person will be forfeited, remainder balance will be refunded. Less than 2 days but prior to 4pm the day before tour date, 50% cancellation fee will apply to each person, and 50% will be refunded per person. After 4pm the day prior to tour date, no refund will be provided.
What happens if I'm not ready on time for my pick-up?
Please try to give yourself enough time to be ready to go for your tour! If you are not going to be ready at your designated pick-up time, please call or text 604-615-0910.
If you are late for a regularly scheduled tour, this may greatly impact the other guests. As such, we will not be able to wait for you and will continue to our next stop. If you miss your pick-up, you may arrange alternate transportation, at your own expense, to our first winery and continue on the tour from there. No refunds will be given for those who are unable to complete the tour due to missing the pick-up.
If you or another guest are late for a private tour, it is up to your group if you wish to wait. Lateness may affect the tour itinerary, and may result in the removal of a winery stop. No refunds will be given for changes to the tour itinerary due to guests being late for the pick-up.

What form of payment do you accept?
We require full payment at the time of booking. We accept most major credit cards or E-transfer. E-transfers must be sent within 24 hours of reserving your tour. Your tour will not be booked until payment has been received. If payment is not received within 48 hours, your reservation will be voided and your tour date may be offered to another customer.
